About
From Saint-Constant to the world’s biggest stages.
Alex Francoeur is a Canadian choreographer based in Montréal, creating for productions in Canada and around the world. He grew up in Saint-Constant, just south of Montréal, with one obsession: moving people through movement. As a dancer he shared the stage with Céline Dion, Ariana Grande, Jason Derulo and Marie-Mai, before audiences fell for his duo Alex & Alex — finalists on Révolution and Golden Buzzer recipients on France’s Got Talent.
He served as Head Choreographer of the Opening Ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Toronto, leading 125 dancers before 45,000 fans and a worldwide audience. His work also reaches the screen, with Ghosts and Einstein on CBS and Antigang; European stages at the Brussels Dance Festival; and the country’s biggest celebrations, Québec’s National Holiday and Canada Day.
On set, he is known for his precision, his energy and the care he gives his performers. As founder of DJAM, la convention — one of Québec’s most unifying events — he puts as much heart into growing the next generation as into creating moments for the general public.
